Things You'll Need:
- Noodles
- Tomato Sauce
- Stewed Tomatoes
- Garlic
- Your Choice of Meat
- Chili Powder
- Chopped Onion
- Dried Basil
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper

Step 1
Put a large pot of water over high heat to boil. Add a fair amount of salt, good noodle water should taste like sea water.

Put an oiled skillet over medium heat. Add meat and spices: Garlic, onion, basil, chili powder, salt and pepper. Fry until meat is completely cooked.

Now that your meat is cooked, add your tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes. Bring your sauce up to a boil and then bring down to a simmer. Allow it to simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

When the water reaches boiling, add your pasta and cook according to the package directions.

Top your noodles with sauce and serve.

on 10/15/2008 Great article. Five stars * ** ** Here is a tip that I learned from a chef. After straining your spaghetti, immediately run it under "cold", yes, cold water. This stops it from all sticking together.
