How to Make Baked Apples

Ahhh the smell of baked apples. This scrumptious treat is for everyone to enjoy.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8 McIntosh apples
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 5 tablespoons of raisins
  • 1 stick of butter-cut into small pieces
  • Ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups of dry white wine
  • ground nutmeg
  1. Step 1

    Wash the apples. Core on the ends and mix together brown sugar, raisins and butter in a large bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Place apples in a deep baking dish, core end up. Fill with the brown sugar mixture.

  3. Step 3

    Sprinkle tops of apples with nutmeg and cinnamon. Preheat oven at 350. In a seperate bowl, add wine and water. Pour around the apples and bake for 45 minutes. Enjoy

  • This goes great with fresh whipped cream or ice cream
