Puppies can have biting problems too, after all it is a normal behavior on dogs, especially when they are playing or when they are teething. It is our duty as dog owner to correct our puppies and teach them that biting is not ok. Even when you think they are not doing any harm, you are reinforcing the habit and dogs will think that it is OK, even as they grow up.

2. To start, you should make them notice that biting hurts you. A great tip is to imitate the sound a dog makes when something hurts him. Also, talk to them, even if they don't understand you, they will "get" the feeling of your communication.

3. If you are playing with your puppy, you could also stand up and leave the puppy alone in the room. He will soon notice that after biting, he is left alone and with nobody to play with.

4. You should also work on reinforcing good habits, so whenever the puppy shows playfulness by licking and not using the teeth you should praise him, scratch him behind the ears and show love.
