How to Save Money Effectively

In these economic times, saving money is becoming more and more difficult. Using a few of my tips, you can help put back money easily and effectively.

Instructions

1. To save money, you must first make money. Determine how much of your paycheck you can afford to put back while still living at your desired level of comfort.

2. Next, you can cash your check and deposit money into a savings account yourself or have another financial institution draft it for you into a designated account. Your employer can assist you with this.

3. Be consistent. Make it a habit each paycheck to set aside the pre-determined amount. Cheating and withholding the amount will only encourage more spending and less saving.

4. After awhile, it will become second nature to set aside a portion of each paycheck, just like brushing your teeth. A disciplined saver is one who will retire a wealthy man/woman!
