Lots of people own a Tracfone Motorola 175. These usually cost around $10 at Walmart. They're not the best phone in the world, but they're inexpensive, and they do the trick, especially if you need fast, cheap commo on the go. They do have a very loud ringer, especially for being such an inexpensive pre paid phone, so you will probably find that you will need to adjust the ringer volume shortly after you purchase it. This article shows you how.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • TracFone Motorola 175
  1. Step 1

Turn on your phone and wait for it to finish powering up. Press the small black circular button and scroll until you see the option for "Ring Styles".

  2. Step 2

Under the Ring Styles menu, you will see three options: Style, Loud Ring Detail and My Tones. Select Loud Ring Detail. This is where you will be able to adjust the volume of your pre paid phone.

  3. Step 3

The option for "Ring Volume" should already be highlighted. Select it.

  4. Step 4

Using the left or right buttons on your phone, you can adjust your phone's volume from 1 (the lowest volume) to 7 (the loudest volume). I don't recommend using the loudest setting unless you work outside where its noisy, or you are hard of hearing. The ringer can be extremely loud.
