Babies are such blessings. We love them so much and want all the best for them, but sometimes money is tight and it may be difficult to purchase all the things you need for your new addition.

Here is a way to save considerably on one of those little necessities, baby wipes, but once you find out how handy wipes are you might decide to keep making them for all those other little emergencies and quick cleanups.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • an air tight container
  • a roll of paper towel
  • 2 T. baby oil
  • 2 T. baby bath or shampoo
  • water
  1. Step 1
    Cut Paper Towels in Half

Take your roll of paper towel ( I recommend Viva because it is both sturdy and soft) and cut the roll in half, right down the middle.

  2. Step 2

Fold the cardboard roll and gently remove from center. Then you have two choices. You can either separate the sheets and fold in layers in your container, or insert the entire half roll into your container, with core removed.

Boil two cups of water, remove from stove and add baby oil, shampoo or baby wash.

  4. Step 4

Once cooled sufficiently pour in container over towels. Let sit overnight for towels to absorb liquid.

Tips & Warnings
  • These wipes will come in handy for dozens of uses around the home or your car. Make a couple extra boxes.
  • Place some in a zip lock bag and carry in your glove box for quick clean ups
  • Wipe down your shoes and get a nice shine.
  • Use to remove makeup.
