How to clear your internet cache in Firefox 3

Cleaning out the cache in your browser can often help to reduce web page errors and issues that come up. It also clears out your locally saved copies of recent websites you visited, thus resulting in your browser to run faster!

Keep in mind that clearing your cache is essential and WILL NOT remove anything important from your computer

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • Firefox 3 web browser
  1. Step 1

    Open up Firefox 3

  2. Step 2

    Find the "Tools" menu at the top of the browser.

  3. Step 3

    Select "Options". A new box will appear, Chose "Privacy"

  4. Step 4

    Once open, click on "Clear Private Data".

  5. Step 5

    Check the box that says "Cache"

  6. Step 6

    Click "Clear Private Data Now"

  7. Step 7

    Give it a few moments to complete and close out of the tools menu.
