This recipe will teach you an easy way to make the best, most moist banana bread you've ever had!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 really ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup melted peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • a small pinch of salt
  • 1-1/2 cups of flour
  • large mixing bowl
  • bread pan
  • wooden spoon
  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas and peanut butter, until it forms a thick paste.

  3. Step 3

    Add the sugar, egg and vanilla and mix well.
    Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the top and stir until well mixed.

  4. Step 4

    Finally, mix in the flour. Pour into a greased bread pan. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour. Cool slightly and serve warm.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add crushed peanuts for texture.
  • Be sure to use pot holders as bread and pan will be hot when removed from the oven.
  • Never allow children near a hot stove.
