How to make a Dead Barbie Halloween costume

My 10 year old wanted a ghoulish spin on the Barbie costume. We decided to make her a DEAD BARBIE! She had a ton of compliments on this easy costume

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• cute Barbie type outfit (skirt/blouse/knee socks)
• long wig
• white face paint
• lots of fake blood
• black makeup for under eyes
• black marker for fake stitches
• fake knife to stick in head
• regular makeup
• hair bow, clip

1. 

   Have your child completely wash her face, put hair in a bun so the wig will go on, secure with bobby pins.
   After putting wig on style into ponytails. I found this style looked cuter than having long hair just hanging down.
   Put costume on (clothing and shoes)

2. dab a light coating of Halloween style white face paint over face (it tends to absorb quickly and will leave a ghostly pallor)
   put black paint under eyes for a ghoulish look
   with black marker create fake "stiches" around neck
   put lots red blood around neck to look like neck was cut, a drip or two at corner of mouth for effect!
   put wig on
   put knife on head

3. 

   put hair accesories on like bows or clips
   Check outfit one last time and send her off for a fun night of trick or treating

Tips & Warnings

• buy inexpensive items
• use the clothes that you have, anything will do
• blonde or black wif is fine, style into ponytails
• Careful with the makeup around the eyes
