Go Green - and be friendly to the environment. This is a quick and easy method for making Earth Friendly Playdough.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup flour (not self rising) 1/2 cup salt 1 cup water 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil 1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  1. Step 1

    Mix all ingrediants in a saucepan, stir over low heat on the stove.

  2. Step 2

    When the dough rolls into a ball, it is done.

  3. Step 3

    Keep your playdough soft and fresh by keeping it in an airtight container.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use the playdough as party-favors at your child's next party. Just put a little into small plastic containers, decorate the container, and you have your favor!
  • Never leave a child unattended while near the stove.

on 12/15/2008 I used to do this for my kids, it's great. Try adding plant based dyes to make it more fun. Just make sure your kids are creating on wax paper to keep things from getting messy.
