Things You'll Need:
- Two Ripe Avocados
- Tomatoes
- Fresh Limes
- Cilantro
- Jalapeno Peppers
- Serrano Peppers
- Garlic
- Salt & Pepper
-
Step 1
Cut two ripe (to the touch) avocados in half and mash them up with a fork until they aren't chunky. (Unless you like chunky guacamole.)
-
Step 2
Squeeze fresh lime juice into a small bowl. Add a very small amount of salt and pepper. The reason for lime and not lemon is that limes will help keep the avocados fresh for a while longer, and it basically takes over the flavor.
-
Step 3
Finely chop the cilantro. Cilantro is like a lemony parsley when eaten by itself, and when added to guacamole it complements the lime. Add the cilantro to the lime juice.
-
Step 4
Dice the tomatoes (2-3) and add those to the lime juice.
-
Step 5
Dice the chilies (Jalapeno and Serrano)
-
Step 6
Chop the garlic and add that and the other spices (Salt & Pepper) to the avocado.
-
Step 7
Mix the lime juice in slowly, adding every bit of yummy flavor into the avocado.
-
Step 8
Serve immediately.
