Step 1
Firstly, don't think about the price of a board. At-least not until you have selected some snowboards that you might want. The right board for you, whether it be cheap or expensive, is going to be worth it in the end.
-
Step 2
Make sure not to get your priorities mixed up when you shop for snowboards. You want to shop first for a board that matches your skill level. Be honest with yourself and your riding skills and you will be much happier with the board you choose. The second priority is your riding style. If you want to be a park rider get a park board, don't get an all mountain board. Or if you are riding deep powder all the time don't get a little tiny park board. You get the idea.

Step 3
One of the best and easiest ways to shop for snowboards is to ask around and find out what other riders are saying about boards that you might be interested in. Make sure to talk with other riders that are at the same or better skill level than you. Also make sure to read snowboard reviews. A good board review will let you know exactly what to expect from a specific board. Good Luck, I hope this information has been helpful.
