      Mums like sunshine. Plant mums in full sun so they get at least 6 hours of sunshine. Don't worry about the cold nights; mum plants tolerate the cold very well.

      Don't over water the mum plants; they prefer semi-moist soil.

      To keep mums flowering for a long time you will need to remove the old flowers. You can do this just by pinching off the dead flowers. You mum plants will look beautiful even longer if you make this step a daily routine.
