My mashed potatoes never seemed to have enough flavor, so I experimented with several seasoning combinations until I got the tastiest potatoes ever.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Combination of russet and red potatoes.
  • FOR EVERY 2 POTATOES:
  • One clove of fresh garlic
  • 2 Tbs. butter, or more according to taste
  • 1/2 Tbs. granulated chicken soup base or boulion
  • 2 Tbs. sour cream
  • 2 Tbs. chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 Tbs. non-dairly powdered coffee creamer
  • Small amount of cold milk.
  • Black pepper
  1. Step 1

Scrub potatoes & cut into quarters. Put in a pan for boiling.

  2. Step 2

Peel & slice garlic. Add to the pan with potatoes.

  3. Step 3

Add water to cover potatoes & cook until potatoes are soft. Peel potatoes after cooking if desired.

  4. Step 4

Drain potatoes, leaving a small amount of water in the pan with potatoes.

  5. Step 5

Add remaining ingredients, and mash with your favorite method: whip, mash, or rice. Use black pepper as you like it. If potatoes are too stiff, add a little milk until they are the desired consistency.
