Moose usually show themselves in swamps and bogs, where they go to eat seaweed and drink water. You'll often see moose wading in about three foot deep water near the edge of a swampy lake. -

Moose like to eat shoots and branches from willow trees. Look for them in stands of trees chewing down leaves and branches. -

Moose are often found in the boggy woods near streams, especially in the woods around Anchorage, Alaska. -

As you drive around Alaska, you might see moose crossing the road.
