How to Enjoy Frankfurt, Germany
Frankfurt is not what you would call Germany’s No.1 tourist destination. Instead, it is a bustling center for commerce and trade, located on the Main River. It is also the site of Germany’s biggest and busiest airports, so many overseas visitors to Deutschland pass through this metropolis to and from their way to other places. This does not mean that Frankfurt is a place that can be overlooked, in fact, this large city holds quite a few surprises for the casual traveler.

Tips & Warnings
Learning a few key phrases of German is helpful, but overall Frankfurt is an English-friendly city.
During World War II Frankfurt was razed by Allied bombers. After the war it was given the choice by the Allies to either rebuild the old or raze everything and start anew. The people in Frankfurt voted and chose the latter.
It is best to avoid the wilder side (i.e. sex clubs of Frankfurt's nightlife) of this city.
