How to Make a Baby From a Balloon

This craft appeals to a child's love for playing with baby dolls. It teaches a child how to make her own baby doll from a balloon. This is also a great craft for teenagers. Once they complete the craft, each teen should be held responsible for a baby balloon until the end of the week. If the balloon gets popped or the teenager doesn't take care of it, each is graded according to his "parenting" success. This is great practice and teaches teens that waiting for a baby is best.

Things You'll Need

• Balloon
• Diaper
• Paints
• Paint brush
• Newspapers

Instructions

1. Choose a medium to large sized balloon. Use blue if you want your baby to be a boy or pink if you want your baby to be a girl.

2. Blow the balloon up and knot it shut.

3. Open up a diaper and place the balloon inside of it. You want the knot side in the diaper so no one will see it. This also leaves the top smooth like a real baby with no hair.

4. Use the sticky sides of the diaper to close the balloon inside. Make sure you make it nice and tight so that the balloon does not escape from the diaper.

5. Paint a face on your baby balloon. Give it a little bit of hair if you want. You can even paint in a pacifier.

6. Wait for the paint to dry. Now the baby's all yours. Be good to her!
