How to Insert Pictures and Clipart Using PowerPoint 2002

PowerPoint 2002 has a Clip Organizer tool that can be used to insert pictures and clipart into your PowerPoint documents. Pictures add creativity to your documents and make them more interactive. Because of the wide use of clipart in documents, many websites offer free clipart to be used. Microsoft also offers free clipart in the Microsoft Clip Gallery Live site.This guide will provide easy steps to adding pictures and clipart to your documents.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open your Word 2002 program. Access the document that you are adding the picture or clipart to. Click on the menu bar and choose "Insert," then "Picture." This opens the "Insert picture" dialog box. Inside the dialog box, you will see a list of files on your computer.

  2. Step 2

    Choose the location of the picture that you are adding. Click "Insert." If your picture is located on a digital camera that is connected to your PC, you may add it by choosing "Insert," then "Picture," then "From scanner or camera." Be sure that theimage is sized properly so that it doesn't appear blurry in your document.

  3. Step 3

    Click on the menu bar and choose "Insert" then "Insert Clip Art" to insert Clip Art into your document. There are several clipart pictures displayed that are available on your PC. Click the arrow next to the clipart in order to choose to insert it.

  4. Step 4

    Open your document to verify that your clipart or your picture has been inserted properly.
