Step 1
Go to Meez (web address is in the Resources section) and sign up for your free membership so that you can create your 3D avatar and save it as you go.

Step 2
Click on "Change Look" at the top of the avatar creator. The "Change Look" menu will allow you to access sub-menus that will allow you to change your avatar's face, body, type, and other basic features. Work through each sub-\menu until you are satisfied with what you have chosen for these options. When you are done with a sub\-menu simply click the link that appears below the words "Back to" in the box with the bright pink arrow facing up, this will take you back to the main "Change Look" menu.

Step 3
Click on "Get Dressed" at the top of the avatar creator, to the right of the "Change Look" link. Under this menu you will be able to choose tops, bottoms, and accessories. Work through the submenus in this category just as you did in the "Change Look" category until you are satisfied with the result. Remember to save the changes that you make to your 3D avatar by clicking the "Save" button.

Step 4
Work through the "Animations" and "Background" categories just as you did the previous 2 categories if you wish. If you are happy with just creating the 3D avatar itself, then you are done once you work through the "Get Dressed" category.

Step 5
Take a screenshot of your 3D avatar and crop and save if you would like to use your avatar for an online profile.
