How to Modify Letters Using Letter Wizards in Microsoft Word 2003

The word processing software applications of today offer many different and useful features that make composing documents a snap. Users are able to even modify existing documents, like letters, simply by accessing wizards (included step-by-step modification plug-ins) in the software. These wizards are great for users who have limited knowledge of the software, but need to create a complex document.

Tips & Warnings

  • The letter wizard is great for easily modifying fields of already created letters.

  • Make sure to save a backup copy of the letter in case you want to backtrack. This modification works best when amending a letter that was originally created using a letter wizard.
