It can be hard to actually be happy when you have so many responsibilities. Mom's has to take care of the children, the home, the meals, the laundry and the rest of the endless chores, along with taking care of husbands, plus many mom's also works (either at a stay at home business or an employment opportunity that takes them out of the home). This is makes it hard for anyone to find time for happiness, even super mom.
Yet, we all need to find time for happiness. Happiness makes life more fun and the problems easier to handle.
Here are some tips that may help.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sleep
  • Relaxation

Get over the idea that you are SUPER MOM.

  1. Step 1

Get over the idea that you are SUPER MOM. She doesn't exist. You are human. Nobody can do everything, all the time. Not even you.

  2. Step 2

Get over the idea that you are SUPER MOM. She doesn't exist. You are human. Nobody can do everything, all the time. Not even you.

  3. Step 3

Make time for sleep. Nobody can be happy if they are tired all the time.

  4. Step 4

Delegate. You have friends, other family members maybe even a spouse that is willing to help you. Allow them to help you with some of the mundane things in life which will allow you more free time for fun things (which can allow you to feel happy).

  5. Step 5

Savor the small moments. Learn to actually see those rare rainbows, the sun setting, the flowers in bloom, your child giggle's, your husband's sexy grin. Those little moments and little things are what life is really about and what can lead to those happy moments.

  6. Step 6

Remember what actually makes you happy and do those things again. If biking makes you happy, get that bike out of storage and go for a ride. If you like to garden, go and buy a plant or two.

Tips & Warnings
  • When you feel overly stress, admit it to whoever may help. Talking over your feelings can sometimes lighten the stress load.
