Both Last.fm and MySpace are social networking sites with an emphasis on music and musical tastes. For users of both sites, a Last.fm album quilt displaying a user’s most listened albums can be posted to her MySpace profile as a cute way to display one’s favorite, or most listened-to albums.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.

  2. Step 2

Go to www.last.fm and log into your Last.fm profile.

  3. Step 3

Scroll to the very bottom of the page.

  4. Step 4

Click on “Widgets” under the “Do More” heading.

  5. Step 5

Choose “Quilts” from the menu on the left side of the page.

  6. Step 6

Change and set the options to customize the quilt: color, size, orientation and type.

  7. Step 7

Select the button that says “Show me the code” under the “Embed it” heading. It is the first button and should have the MySpace logo listed on it.

  8. Step 8

Copy the code that it displays. You can also choose to have the code e-mailed to you.

  9. Step 9

Go to MySpace.com and login to your MySpace profile.

  10. Step 10

Choose “Edit Profile” from the “Profile” menu at the top of your MySpace profile.

  11. Step 11

Paste the album quilt code into whatever section you want your album quilt to appear in on your profile. For instance, if you want the quilt to appear under "Music" paste it into the "Music Section," or "About Me" for the "About Me" section.

  12. Step 12

    Click “Save Changes.”

  13. Step 13

Visit your MySpace profile. Your Last.fm album quilt should now be displayed on your profile!

Tips & Warnings
  • You must download the Audioscrobbler and track your listening habits to Last.fm for the site to generate an album quilt. The album quilt will change as your most listened to albums change.
