Things You'll Need:
- Coat hanger
- Pliers
- Wire cutters
- Jingle bells
- Floral wire
- Decorative bow
- Decorative cord (optional)
-
Step 1
Select jingle bells in the color and size you prefer. Choose several sizes or colors if you desire a multicolored wreath. Select all one color if you want a uniform look. Keep the purpose of the wreath in mind as you select colors. Silver or gold makes a dramatic display near holiday lights, candles or mirrors that catch and reflect light. Choose brilliant reds to contrast with evergreens, or more subdued colors for a subtle display of color.

Step 2
Untwist the wire of a coat hanger and cut off the twisted end with pliers. Discard the cut off sections. Choose the jingle bells for the wreath. String the bells onto the wire, through the loop on the bell. Alternate colors if you have chosen a two-toned or multicolored wreath. Create a pattern of various sizes, if you have chosen to use more than one size of bell.
-
Step 3
Continue until you have filled the entire hanger with bells, leaving a 2-inch section at the end. Twist the ends together as close to the bells as possible with a pair of pliers. If necessary, cut remaining loose ends with wire cutters.
-
Step 4
Add smaller bells to the wreath by attaching to a piece of wreath wire and twisting to the hanger base so that small bells rest between larger bells.
-
Step 5
Place a large decorative bow on the top or bottom by attaching to floral wire and twisting the wire to the hanger base. Add a decorative cord by looping around the base and tucking the cord between the bells, or simply hang the wreath over a doorknob or hook.
-
Step 6
Create smaller wreaths by cutting and stringing a section of wire with bells and twisting the ends to secure. Use bells that are in proportion to the size of the wreath. Hang on the tree for a delightful tree ornament.
