How to Load, Rewind and Remove Film
If you have been using a digital or instant load camera for a while, it can be hard to remember how to use your manual camera. If you have never used a manual camera, it is important for you to know that it is worth taking the time to familiarize yourself with the process and basic steps.

Turn the camera switch to on. In some cameras, that is the A setting on the main switch. Pull up the rewind knob until the back cover pops open.

Slowly pull the film across the camera, and insert the end into the slot of the take-up spool. Push the advance film button once and watch to make sure that the perforations or holes in the bottom of the film is engaged in the teeth of the film transport sprocket and spool. The film should pull slightly as you do this. The film must be taut, or it will not advance properly and can be ruined. Carefully turn the rewind crank in the direction of the arrow until it stops and the film becomes taut. Close the back cover.

Push the film advance button to take a few 'blank' shots. The film counter should now move to 1. Watch the rewind knob as you do this. If the film moves correctly, the knob will rotate in the direction of the arrow. On the top of the camera, set the speed of the film which is located on the box which you purchased the film in. You are ready to take photos.

9
Notice that the camera film cartridge is seated into the film chamber. You should see only the cartridge with film already wound into the unit.
