Instructions

    • 1

Cut the cinnamon sticks to the height of the candle. Be sure they are not longer than the candle, so they don't catch fire when the candle is lit.

    • 2

Glue a cinnamon stick onto the side of the candle so its bottom is flush with the bottom of the candle. Let dry.

    • 3

Glue the rest of the cinnamon sticks around the candle, fitting them close together. Let each one dry before adding the next.

    • 4

Tie a piece of raffia around the candle, creating a bow.

    • 5

Place a drop of glue at the back of the raffia so it doesn't slip off the candle. Let dry.

    • 6

Place the candle on the glass dish. This keeps wax from getting on the table when the candle is lit.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use red and green candles for Christmas.

  • Instead of the glass plate, use special candle holders you can buy at any craft store.
