How to Create Automated Twitter Feeds From a Blog

Twitterfeed allows you to create a feed of your latest post entries, which will show as a Twitter update. Every time you publish something on your site, it will show on your Twitter profile. The best thing about it? It's done automatically, so you don't have to worry about posting updates and links on Twitter every time you update your blog.

Instructions

    • 1

Give Twitter, through Twitterfeed, your blog information. This information is called OpenID and is basically your blog or Web site's URL.

    • 2

Check in your blog settings to determine your OpenID. Blog platforms such as WordPress provide you with an OpenID. If you don't have one, Twitterfeed will help get your OpenID. Click on "Get Open ID" and the site guides you through this process.

    • 3

Go to the Twitter website and create an account, if you don’t have one already (see Resources below). Then, go to the Twitterfeed website and log in with your OpenID. This allows Twitter to detect when you have updated the site.

    • 4

Enter your OpenID on Twitterfeed. From now on, Twitterfeed is ready to detect changes on your site so the links show automatically on your Twitter profile.

    • 5

Go to your Twitter account in a few hours and you will see your updates showing automatically.
