Figure out if one of the four areas on the island where Sandals resorts are located appeals more to you. There are resorts located in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Negril and Westmoreland Savanna La Mar.

Decide how much time you would like to spend traveling to get to a resort. Consider the length of your stay. From the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, it takes about 10 minutes to reach the resorts in Montego Bay, while it takes one to two hours to reach the other locations.

Choose which you enjoy more when it comes to the water: the beach or pool. Sandals Whitehouse has a large beach and pools. Negril has access to a long beach. The other resorts have better access to pools and smaller beaches.

There are programs in Ocho Rios and Montego Bay where Sandals provides a shuttle for you to visit the other resorts in that city. You have the opportunity to dine at and explore the other Sandals resorts in the area free of charge.
If your room is a top priority you should also explore the types of top level suites at each resort. Each resort has butler level service available, but the location, room type and amenities vary.
Don’t immediately be turned off from a location due to one or two negative reviews. Read many and make a decision based on what your top priorities are when it comes to an all-inclusive vacation.
