How to Tone Muscle Quickly
The human body is an amazing machine. By targeting specific areas, you can give this machine an effective tune up quite quickly. If you are looking to tone your muscles fast, there are three exercises to keep in mind: squats, bench press and chin ups. These three, when performed regularly, help to tighten muscles and burn fat across the board.

1
Do squat thrusts. If your gym is properly equipped, this is accomplished by using, a squat rack and a bar. It is important to have two or three spotters, one on each side and behind you. Simply load up the weights with something you are comfortable with and squat until your thighs are parallel. This works the gluts, thighs and calves.

2
Move to bench presses next. Load up the bars with a low weight to begin with. Always have a spotter standing directly over you to grab the bar if you begin to struggle. Benching will tone the chest, triceps and shoulders.

3
Finish off your toning exercises by performing chin-ups. Chin-ups stress the upper back, forearms and biceps. To perform a proper chin-up, begin by grabbing the bar with your palms facing away from your body with your chin on the bar. Slowly lower your body and stop before dropping until your arms won’t allow any more. Pull yourself up and touch your chin as many times as possible.

4
Perform this toning regimen only two to three times per week. The muscles need at least 48 hours to properly recover. In the days between your workouts, work on cardio to burn fat if you like.
-
5
Repeat your weight regimen with proper repetitions for maximum results. Bench and squats should be done 8 to 15 times in three sets during the workout. Chin-ups should be three sets of the same or as many as you can do if you cannot reach eight.
