      Visit the Rietberg Museum. This museum is located inside of Zurich's famed Zieter Park. The decor of the museum is Neo Classical, inspired by the Villa Albani in Rome. Constructed in 1857, this building has served as a meeting spot for Zurich's elite, including Conrad Ferdinand Mayer. Now, it displays of everything from Indian sculpture to Chinese grave decorations.

      Go shopping on Bahnhofstrasse. This is a lively shopping center of Zurich, and there are also lots of historically relevant buildings located here as well.       Go to Lenin's House in Spiegelgasse. The Spiegelgasse section of Zurich has a very important site, the former home of Russian Communist leader Vladimir Lenin. Lenin resided here in 1917, and visitors can get an intimate, up-close look at his life with the many artifacts and furnishings on display.

      Visit Regensberg. Located slightly northwest of Zurich, Regensberg is a charming medieval town on the Lagern Hills. Probably one of the best maintained medieval towns in Switzerland, Regensberg was founded in 1245 by the Barons of Regensberg. Be sure to check out the church, built in the thirteenth century, as well as the "Rote Rose" house.
