How to Upgrade Dragon Powers in "Breath of Fire 2"

The main character in the Super Nintendo role-playing game Breath of Fire 2 has the ability to transform into a dragon during battle to perform devastating attacks. You can upgrade these attacks to even more powerful levels by finding an old hermit who lives inside a hidden cave.

Things You'll Need

• Breath of Fire 2 game (SNES or GBA version)

Instructions

1. 

   Play through the game until you reach the city called Simafort, and the character named Jean joins the party.

2. 

   Put Jean at the front of the party and have him use his special ability to transform into a giant frog.

3. 

   Travel west and north from Simafort to the lake that has a waterfall.

4. 

   Go down the waterfall to be transported to the inside of a hidden cave.

5. Walk to the back of the cave and speak with the old man there. He will upgrade the main character's dragon powers.

Tips & Warnings

• Your upgraded dragon powers use elemental-based attacks that hit all enemies on the screen.
