How to Ghost Hunt in Dallas

There are several locations in Dallas where you can ghost hunt. From local graveyards to old hotels and other historic locales, here are some of the best places to hunt for spirits in the biggest city in Texas.

Instructions

1. Search for known haunted locations. The Old Parkland Hospital in Dallas is an historic place known for strange happenings, unusual figures and voices. The Old City Park has a restaurant located in the heart of the recreational area. The locals insist that it is a known haunted location.

2. Go to the Sammons Art Center at 3630 Harry Hines Blvd. Take several trips in the elevator and you may find the ghost that you are seeking.

3. Take a drive in the dark along Flag Pole Hill, a stretch of road located in Dallas. Vehicles traveling down this road late at night often receive damage to their car.

4. Stay at a haunted hotel. If you want to set up a digital camera or use your tape recorder to capture electronic voice phenomena (EVPs), hotels are a good resource for this. You can stay for a few days and capture images or voices. The Adolphus Hotel and Hotel Lawrence are two properties with histories of haunting. You can make a reservation and inquire about their haunted sightings when you do.

5. Explore the Dallas graveyards. A graveyard, especially late at night, can produce several images as well as EVPs. Setup your camera and tape recorder, sit back and watch the ghosts appear. Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas Ft. Worth Cemetery and Hillcrest Mausoleum & Memorial are only a few graveyards located in Dallas. Overall, there are more than 20 cemeteries as well as a few that are no longer in service.
