1
Turn on your PSP. Make sure your memory stick is inserted and that it has enough memory on it.
-
2
Open your computer's music program, like iTunes. Any music program on a computer will have the music files in MP3 format.

-
3
Organize your music. Put it in folders according to artist or song. It will make it easier to sort once you have it on your PSP.
-
4
Connect the USB cable to your PSP and your computer. On the PSP click on "HOME" and then " X." It should bring up the option to connect the USB device. Click "YES."
-
5
Now, the PSP icon should appear on your computer. Open it. Then open the "MUSIC" folder in your PSP.
-
6
Copy the music files from your computer to the "MUSIC" folder on your PSP. Just drag them from your computer and drop them on the PSP. Be sure to keep the MP3s organized. Drag the whole folder with the music you want in it.
-
7
Wait for the MP3s to be copied onto the PSP. This may take several minutes depending on how large the files are.
-
8
When the files are completely copied, safely unplug the USB cable from your computer and PSP.
