Open the snowflake. Use the edge of a fingernail or a plastic tool to smooth out the creases. Lay down some newspaper to protect your workspace. Use a slender paintbrush to apply glue to the snowflake in attractive patterns. Don't coat the entire surface. Leave some white space. Vary your design by using curlicues, straight lines and interesting angles. After you've made a few designs on your snowflake, sprinkle them with silver glitter. Shake off the excess into a paper plate.

Continue adding glue to your snowflake design. Examine the patterns you've already created and make new ones which complement them. Sprinkle the excess glitter from the paper plate onto the snowflake. Allow the snowflake to dry completely. Repeat the gluing and glitter application process on the reverse side.
Tips & Warnings
Windows are probably the best place to display these glitter snowflakes.
When finished, the snowflake will be fragile. Take care when displaying it on a Christmas tree.
