Payday loan services have become increasingly popular. These services allow you the convenience of getting money now instead of waiting for your next payday. This can be extremely beneficial if your car has broken down or you experience some other unexpected expense, as well as if you accidentally miscalculated your finances when you balanced your bank statement. For a fee, a payday loan service will give you the money you need today, allowing you to repay the loan when you receive your next paycheck.

    Using Payday Loan Services

  1. Step 1

Choose a payday loan service. Many are now available online. You will want to choose a service based on the amount you are allowed to borrow in reference to your needs as well as the interest and fees associated with the loan.

  2. Step 2

Fill out the loan application. This typically includes information about how to contact you and your employment as well as your checking account information. This is generally not a credit application, so you do not need good credit in order to obtain a payday loan.

  3. Step 3

Meet the requirements. These vary depending on the loan service. Typical requirements include having an income of over $1,000 a month and being employed for at least six months.

  4. Step 4

Receive your loan. If you used an online service, this will generally be a direct deposit to your checking account.

  5. Step 5

Pay your loan off when you receive your next paycheck. Avoid getting into a situation where you have to extend your loan until another payday. These extensions get extremely costly and can force you into borrowing money week after week while paying high interest and fees. It is best to only use the payday loan service as a tool in case of emergencies.
