Air hockey is similar to regular hockey in that the point of the game is to get the puck into your opponent's goal. The only difference is that air hockey is played on a smaller table. You may not own an air hockey table or you may not be able to find anybody to play against. Luckily, there are numerous websites which allow users to play air hockey online. Here are the best air hockey games found on the Internet.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to the air hockey game at Candystand. On the home page, you can select to represent one of nine countries. After you do this, select either “Practice” or “High Score.” Use the practice mode to get used to the game before entering the “High Score” tournament. All you need to play air hockey on Candystand is your mouse. The cursor moves your mallet on the air hockey table.

  2. Step 2

Play the Electro Air Hockey game at Miniclip. Click on the “Tournament” link on the title page to begin. You will then see a list of characters you can be while playing the game. After you choose your player, the game will load. Use your mouse to control the mallet.

  3. Step 3

Visit the free air hockey game at ESPN Arcade. Again, you will choose which country you will represent. After you do, choose from “Practice” or “High Score Contest.” ESPN gives you the option to play either air hockey or soccer. Once you make your choice, the game will load. Click the “Play” tab at the bottom of the game screen and you'll see a tournament screen. Click the “Play” tab again and your game will load.

  4. Step 4

Log onto the InfoSpace Air Hockey Web page. Select the “Click here to begin” link and the game screen will appear. On the game screen, choose the “Start” link. You will again pick a country. After you choose one of the listed countries, your game will automatically load and begin.

  5. Step 5

Play the 2d Hockey Game on the Learn 4 Good page. After the game screen loads, instructions will appear. When you've finished reading the instructions, choose your difficulty in the box found in the top right corner of the game screen. Once you've done this, click on the “Start game” link at the bottom of the screen. Your game will begin. As with all of the other games, use your mouse to control your mallet.
