How to Trade Stocks On a Pocket PC
Set up your Pocket PC to trade stocks from work, home and anywhere in between. Learn to preset your stop loss so you don’t lose all your money in one trade. With your Pocket PC, you can trade anything, whether it is stocks, commodities or foreign currency. Most of all, by trading stocks on a Pocket PC or other mobile device, you stay in control of your stocks.

HotSync your Pocket PC with your computer or mobile phone. Read the manual for your Pocket PC. It will come with a synchronizing cable to plug into your computer. This is how your computer and Pocket PC keep on the same page.

Look at the fourth column on the display screen. This column indicates if your stock value is up or down, and if current stocks are up or down for the day. Up is indicated by a green arrow pointed up. The opposite is indicated by a red arrow pointed down. Keep in mind that this information is based on the last time you synchronized your Pocket PC with your computer or mobile phone. Each stock is named in the left most column. Price is displayed in the middle column. Profit is displayed in the far right column.

Tap on the earth icon. This will give you the date and time of the last Internet update on your Pocket PC.

Click on the "Stock Action" button to view the stocks you have actively been trading. This opens a new screen with these stocks and their data for your review.

Make changes to a stock. Click the "Dividend" button. To delete the stock, click on the red "X" button. To sell the stock, click on the green dollar bill button.

Make purchases of the same stock by clicking on the red button with a circle surrounded by dots. Add mutual funds or other types of shares to a stock by clicking on the red button.

Synchronize your Pocket PC with the iIternet, via phone or computer cable, and save the closing costs for the day. This will change the charts for the stock market on your Pocket PC.
