Instructions

    • 1

Set your shirt box on the wrapping paper. The top of the box should be face down on the paper. Pull both sides of the paper until they meet half way across the box with one side overlapping a little.

    • 2

Cut the paper and then tape the two edges together.

    • 3

Turn the box so that one end faces you. With your fingers, gently press both corners down and then press the ends down into an angle.

    • 4

Turn the bottom edge of the wrapping paper up and tape. Turn the box around and repeat Step 3 and Step 4.

    • 5

Add a few more pieces of tape to make sure the paper is secure and won’t come open. Don’t put so much tape on though, that whoever gets the present has a hard time opening it. If you want to place a bow on the top of your newly wrapped present, then do so now.

Tips & Warnings

  • There are plenty of different wrapping designs, some of which are holiday themed and available only at certain times of the year.

  • You can wrap a present in a pretty patterned fabric, a brown paper sack or in paper that was decorated by either you or a child.

  • You can use invisible tape or some places have colored tape. A ribbon can also be used to decorate a gift-wrapped box.

  • If the paper is crooked where you cut it, then make sure that is the part that is flat on the box and the other half is taped on top.

  • The scissors need to be sharp in order to cut the wrapping paper without tearing it. Be careful that you don’t cut yourself.

  • Be careful with the paper. How easy the paper rips or tears depends on how thick or thin it is.
