Contact the dealership where you bought the golf cart. Some dealerships may have access to parts for the carts as well. Keep in mind that parts bought from a dealership will generally cost you more than if you bought them from another source.

Browse online for golf parts suppliers. You will find both used and brand-new parts. When ordering you must know the make and model of your golf cart and the precise name of the part you need.

Contact your local golf course. They may have used golf carts for sale or parts from used golf carts.

Look for wholesale sites online that will sell parts for golf carts at the fraction of the cost of regular dealers. While you are checking these sites make sure that they specialize in the parts that routinely go bad in golf carts such as: golf cart motors, clutches, tires, carburetors, ignition parts, windshields, windshield wipers, light kits, steering wheels, speedometer, and speed controllers. You may even find wholesale sites that sell extra parts such as baggage racks, battery chargers, beverage trays, ball and club washers. An excellent site to start is Golf Cart Trader (see Resources).

Post an ad in your local newspaper stating that you are looking to buy a certain part. This is especially helpful if you live in an area where golf carts are used a lot. Be sure to include the type of golf cart you own and contact information where potential sellers can reach you.
