Selling a car to a junkyard is a great way to make a little extra money in Fresno, California. It also gets rid of something that is probably taking up space in your yard or driveway.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Car title
  1. Step 1

Get the car title together, along with your ID. Most junkyards won't buy a car unless you actually own it outright and can provide proof of such.

  2. Step 2

Call a business named Shamron. Their number is (408) 268-1111. Not a lot of places in the Fresno area actually buy junk cars. Shamron serves all around the California area. They will not only purchase your junk car but also pay cash.

  3. Step 3

Call Shamron and ask for a quote. You can then make arrangements to have them come and pick up your car. Shamron provides a free towing service if your junk car doesn't run or if you just don't want to bother with driving to them.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't attempt to get your junk car in running condition if it doesn't already run. Most salvage yards will tow for free. It isn't worth risking breaking down on the way there.
