1
Decide on a color scheme for your wreath. A wreath made in a solid color can be stunning if adorned with contrasting ribbon, but this wreath can be made from multicolored ball, if you prefer. Purchase equal amounts of both colors if you choose to make a two-toned wreath.

2
Purchase a wire wreath ring, or make one by bending a metal coat hanger into a circular shape. Form the circle as symmetrically as possible, as this will be the base of your wreath. Take your time to get it right before proceeding to creating the wreath. Attach a wire loop at the top to the wreath ring for a hanger. Cut the florist wire into 1-inch to 2-inch sections.

3
String a section of wire through the loop on the top of the ornament. Secure firmly to the wreath ring by twisting in place. Work from the top of the wreath to the bottom on both sides. Attach large balls until you fill the wreath. Use smaller balls to fill in any gaps or spaces between larger balls.
-
4
Wrap the wreath loosely with decorative ribbon to contrast with the balls. White, silver or gold are good choices for a wreath of multicolored balls. If using a single color, chose a ribbon that contrasts nicely. Add a large bow at the top.

5
Add decorative items by wiring between balls. Attach sprigs of evergreen to add a touch of traditional holiday decor. Add bits of lace or dried baby's breath to add romance.
-
6
Display over the mantle with a grouping of lighted candles below, or in an area where a mirror will catch its reflection.
