How to Dress like Pee Wee Herman for Halloween

Pee-Wee Herman was one of the biggest and most recognizable stars of the 1980's. For those that grew up with Pee-Wee, his look would also make one of the most recognizable Halloween costumes. Paul Reubens, the actor that played Pee-Wee, garnered 22 Emmy Awards and was even given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1988. He starred in kid-friendly shows and movies, like the "The Pee-Wee Herman Show," "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure," and Pee-Wee's Playhouse." Though Reubens' reputation may have been tainted in the early 90's, Pee-Wee is still a pop culture icon.

Things You'll Need:

• Gray blazer
• Gray pants
• White button-down shirt
• Red bow tie
• White handkerchief
• White socks
• White shoes
• Red bicycle (optional)

   Get a gray blazer. If you are looking to be precise, get a gray plaid blazer with sleeves that end a little above the wrist.

2. Get gray slacks. Again, for the exact look, find gray plaid pants that hit the ankle.

3. Get a white collared button-down. Make sure the shirt is crisp and the collar stays down.

4. Get a red bow-tie. The distinguishing factor for Pee-Wee is his red bow-tie.

5. Get a white handkerchief. Place the handkerchief so that it is peeking from your left breast pocket.

6. Get white socks. Make sure that these white socks can be seen even when your slacks and shoes are on.

7. Get white shoes. Find white loafers with a black or brown sole.
