When you want thousand island dressing for your salad, whether you're at home, a friends house, or a restaurant, that doesn't have it, all you have to do is

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Pour or scoop 4 ounces of mayonnaise into a cup or bowl.

  2. Step 2

Add 2 ounces of ketchup to the mixture.

  3. Step 3

Add 1 tablespoon (1/2 ounce) of sweet relish (other relish if you prefer) to the mix. You can add a little chopped onion to your creation.
    Stir and serve.

Tips & Warnings
  • Relish or onions are not mandatory to give you the near to the thousand island taste.
  • Del Monte or Heinz, no garlic ketchup, gives the mixture the taste, I prefer.
  • For a change up, the mix can be used for hamburgers, to get a similar to the Big Mac taste. See my add www.ehow.com/how_2267780_cook-excellent-hamburgers.html
