Bell bottom jeans..
Bell bottom jeans..

Okay, this may be the most absurd article I've ever written. More uncomfortable for me to write than the one about keeping acne away.

But, this is something that I have had trouble with. I'm a creative person that likes to dress a certain way. I work in the music business and like to get funky with my style. I do not like most men's jeans that they're manufacturing today. Plus, I'm a skinny guy and most jeans swallow me up and make me look funny shaped. I like a much more tailored, vintage fit. It's a bit difficult for me to find men's jeans that are cut in the bell bottom, 70's style. But, for girls it's much easier. So, with this quick article I'll give you some tips and web sites where you can find bell bottom jeans.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Money
  • A vintage, rock n roll sensibility
  • Style, a lot of syle
  1. Step 1

Determine if flared jeans will work for you. They aren't for everybody. Some people look ridiculous wearing them, others don't.

  2. Step 2

Goto your favorite store and see if they have any flared jeans. This is the easiest thing to do. The Buckle is my favorite store. They have a ton of flared, bell bottom style jeans for girls.. and a style or two for guys.

  3. Step 3

Search online. A quick google search on "bell bottom jeans" will pull up a ton of product pages and online stores. If you're a guy.. you may try typing in something like "men's flared jeans".. or something similar.

  4. Step 4

Check out vintage stores.. it may be easier for you to find what you're looking for there.

  5. Step 5

Go through a family member's old clothes from the 70's. That's a great way to find flared or vintage looking jeans.

Tips & Warnings
  • Once you get your flared jeans, match it up well with shoes, shirt, and jacket. You don't want to go too retro. I like mixing my flared jeans with a blazer and dress boots to give the overall look a bit more of a modern feel.
