How to Make Grilled Fajita Steak Kabobs

Grilled fajita steak kabobs are a great way to mix things up when grilling. They can be prepared for a party or just a quick dinner for the family. One thing to remember is that the recipe may be quick, but you have to allow time for the ingredients to marinade for several hours.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 packet of fajita seasoning or marinade
  • 1 medium onion, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 medium green pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • Kabob skewers
  • Grill
  1. Step 1

    Cut up the steak, onion, and green pepper all into 1 inch peices.

  2. Step 2

    Place the ingredients in a large plastic bag or a bowl. Prepare the fajita seasoning mix or marinade as directed on the packet or bottle. Pour the fajita mixture over the steak and vegetables.

  3. Step 3

    Allow the ingredients to marinade for at least 2 hours or longer.

  4. Step 4

    Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the ingredients on the kabob skewers, alternating between a piece of steak and then a piece of onion and green pepper.

  5. Step 5

    Grill the kabobs for approximately 15 minutes or until the steak is done. Turn the steak kabobs only once during the grilling time.

Tips & Warnings
  • Another otpion for this recipe is to substitute chicken for steak on the kabobs.
  • Do not leave the steak kabobs unattended at the grill.
