      Opening the "Get Info" Command from the Menu Bar

      Select the file you wish to change to a Stationary Pad and preform a “Get Info” on the selected file. You can “Get Info” by selecting “Edit/Get Info” in the Finder Menu Bar or by using the key combination “Command-I.”

      Select the "Stationary Pad" Check Box

      In the open "Get Info" window select the check box “Stationary Pad.”

      Close the "Get Info" Window

      Close the “Get Info Window.” Your file will retain all of the information that you’ve previously written to the file, such as your name, address or other information, and is ready for you to input new text or information.
