The Fourteens Dice Game is a scaled down version of the Dice Game Twenty-Six. Players alternate in rolls as the roller and the bank in the Fourteens Dice Game. Players still roll a total of ten dice in this game on his or her turn multiple times. In this game, however, players only have to take five rolls of the dice. This makes the Fourteens Dice Game much quicker to play. It's perfect for players that enjoy more action. There is a very simple way to determine a winner and payout amount. That makes the pace of the Fourteens Dice Game quicker than other games such as the Dice Game Twenty-Six.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Find an opponent to play the Fourteens Dice Game against. This is a game that is played by two players. It involves gambling using poker chips to track each player's winnings.

  2. Step 2

Hand each player an equal number of poker chips. Direct them each to place a determined amount of money into the pot. The poker chips should each have a monetary value that is easily divided into the amount in the pot. It is recommended that each chip is worth 25 or 50 cents. Each poker chip in the Fourteens Dice Game has an equal value.

  3. Step 3

Choose one player to be the roller and one to be the bank. The roller is the only player that can win money. He is paid by the player that is the bank.

  4. Step 4

Direct the roller to roll all ten dice. If the roller rolls three or more of the same number, that is his goal number for the Fourteens Dice Game. He receives one point for each of the goal number he rolled on that roll of the dice. If a three or more of a kind is not rolled, the roller may choose his goal number and receives three points for that first roll of the dice.

  5. Step 5

Roll the dice four more times. Keep track how many times the goal number shows up for the roller on a die. Total this amount on these four rolls along with the points the roller received for his first roll. This will determine how much the roller wins.

  6. Step 6

Determine if the roller's score is fourteen points or more. If it is fourteen points or more, the roller is declared a winner. The player that is the bank must pay the roller eight poker chips. If the total is less than fourteen, the roller receives no poker chips.

  7. Step 7

Switch roles. The roller now becomes the bank and the bank becomes the roller. The Fourteens Dice Game can be played for as many rounds as both players choose. Divide the money in the pot based on the number of poker chips each player owns.
