Things You'll Need:
- Gold and cream fabric
- Glass goblets
- White tea light candles
- Various cherub ornaments or statues
- Dried Christmas flowers
- Gold vase
- Any other personal Victorian themed ornaments or decorations
-
Step 1
Clear off your fireplace mantel of anything that you have on it now. Take some rich gold or cream fabric and drape it over the entire fireplace mantel so that it hangs over the edges.
-
Step 2
Place dried Christmas flowers in pink, white, cream and/or red into a gold vase. Try to find a vase that fits in with the Victorian theme if you can otherwise a plain gold vase will do. Place the vase of flowers in the middle of the fireplace mantel.
-
Step 3
Choose other Victorian Christmas decorations according to your own personal taste to fill in around the flowers.
-
Step 4
Take two glass goblets and place white tea lights into them. Place the goblets next to each other on the mantel. Light the candles at night for a peaceful look.
-
Step 5
Use any cherub ornaments or statues that you have and place on them on the fireplace mantel. If they are all white or in light colors that is even better for the theme. Place them evenly spaced apart around the mantel.
-
Step 6
For the last touch, use some leftover gold or cream fabric or ribbon that you have and make some bows out of it. Hang the bows on the edges of the fireplace mantel using tacks or double sided tape.
