Step 1
Bermuda TaxiThe Taxi Service Method - This is the only way to get from the airport to your destination as the public transportation will not take luggage. This is the most expensive way to travel in Bermuda and gasoline at the moment is between $8.00- $8.50 a gallon. Its best to use this method as little as possible if you want to save some money when choosing the right transportation for a Bermuda vacation.
-
Step 2
The Bermuda BusThe Bus/Ferry - Public transportation is about the cheapest option. Car rental is not possible for visitors.
You can buy a 1-7 day bus pass and each day you add gets cheaper. A one day pass is $12. and a 2-day pass is $20.00. The bus passes are good on the Ferry as well and it's an unlimited pass so you can use it as many times in a day as you want. The buses are very much on schedule. -
Step 3
MopedsMoped Mania - You should think twice before venturing into the moped rental area. If your an experienced cycle rider, you may consider it. Even your experience though, cannot prepare you for the narrow roads as well as driving on the opposite side of the road that we are used to in the US. This is risky transportation in Bermuda. Your transportation option choices can insure you have a wonderful time on your Bermuda vacation.
