Things You'll Need:
- 1 block Paneer or cottage cheese
- 2 medium spicy green chillies
- 1 table spoon of ginger garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chilly powder
- 4 tablespoons yogurt
- 2 tablespoons tandoori masala available in the market
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2-3 Bamboo skewers
- 1 pinch orange color if needed
- grill or oven

Step 1
Cottage cheese cubesCut one block of cottage cheese into as many medium sized cubes as you can.

yogurt + tandoori masalaMix two tablespoons of tandoori masala with four tablespoons of yogurt in a bowl. Add 1 teaspoons of salt/ salt as per your taste too.

Add ginger garlic pasteTake one tablespoon of ginger garlic paste

Red chilly powder + greenchillies + orange color groundGrind two medium sized chillies and one teaspoon red chilly powder in mixer or grinder. You can now add a pinch of orange color to this if needed. Adding color is purely optional.Add 1/2 spoon of cumin seed powder to this mixture.Adding cumin seeds powder is optional too. You may skip it.

Step 5
Cooking oil/ vegetable oil/ corn oilTake two tablespoons of cooking oil/ vegetable/ corn oil now.

Step 6
Paneer cubes in a bowlPut the cottage cheese/ paneer in a fairly large bowl.

Marinated paneer/ cottage cheesePour the mixture of Yogurt-Tandoori masala and ground paste of green chillies and red chilly powder on the cubes. and mix lightly with a spoon.
Marinate this mixture for at least an hour. Better marinating time would be 3-4 hours.Smear the marinated paneer cubes with the cooking oil. This can be applied by a brush or simply with your fingers. Now pierce the marinated paneer with a bamboo skewers.This is ready to be grilled. -
Step 8
paneer on grillPreheat your grill on medium. Put the paneer skewers on it and brush with a little cooking oil. Grill till paneer is light golden brown and soft. Do not overcook or the paneer will become rubbery.

Step 9
Remove the grilled paneer in a plate. Spice the ready-to-eat paneer by squeezing some lemon juice over the paneer skewers, garnish with lemon wedges and serve piping hot!
