Give yourself time to heal. You can’t expect to completely get over what happened in a few days, you need to take days, weeks or even months to get over it.

Remind yourself of the good times you have with your girlfriend in the past. Think about how much she meant to you and see if that means more to you than what she did.

Make a decision regarding your future. If you really can’t forgive her and get over what happened, then you need to end the relationship and let her go free.

Realize that you’ve made mistakes in the past and that she’s forgiven you. You should be able to do the same, especially if you still love her.

Let her know that while you forgive her, you can’t forget what happened. Things have changed between you and she needs to know that things will never be the same again.
